Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience for digital products or web applications.
• Proficiency in Figma with components, variants, auto layout, and prototyping.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience collaborating with engineers.
• Familiarity with accessibility and UX best practices.
• Experience designing data-heavy interfaces, interactive visualizations, or AI-integrated tools preferred.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments or research/academic tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Execute production-ready designs and maintain interface consistency in Figma.
• Ensure branding and tone align with IHS standards.
• Explore interface solutions for complex, data-rich systems.
• Support usability testing and incorporate feedback for improved scholar and internal user experiences.
• Contribute UX insights to early-stage discussions and broader strategy as needed.
