Requirements

  • Previous IT support and systems administration experience in SaaS or tech companies.
  • Advanced experience in macOS, Windows, and Linux systems administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced network administration knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, Core/Access Switch deployment).
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Apple Business Essentials, Microsoft Intune, Jamf).
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization platforms (vSphere, AWS), storage systems, backup systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Attention to detail and excellent documentation habits.
  • Desired: familiarity with NERC CIP and NIST cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support needs in the Santa Rosa office and for remote employees.
  • Provide front-line technical support: password resets, hardware/software troubleshooting, account issues, and system access.
  • Manage user onboarding/offboarding: equipment setup, account provisioning, and deactivation.
  • Administer and maintain access control across Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, NextCloud, Confluence, Jira, Zoom, ESET PROTECT, VMWare, and other tools.
  • Support office network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, routers, VPNs, and conference room AV equipment.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and enforce hardware lifecycle processes.
  • Coordinate with global IT teams on initiatives and security compliance efforts.
  • Create and enforce IT policy/procedure documentation and assist with cybersecurity training and compliance.

Physical / Work Environment

  • Office-based with collaboration across departments; occasional remote support for distributed teams.
