Key Responsibilities

  • Support registered nurses in delivering agreed plans of care in line with training and instructions.
  • Promote safe and compassionate patient care in secure environments.
  • Develop and apply new skills to maintain high standards of clinical service delivery.
  • Assist with health interventions for patients in line with policies and best practices.
  • Contribute to improving healthcare access and outcomes for inmates.

Required Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Non-judgmental and compassionate approach to patient care.
  • IT literacy and ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures.
  • (Preferred) Experience in hospital, community, or prison healthcare settings.
