Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards using Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects, and Tableau.
- Gather and analyze reporting requirements in collaboration with clients, analysts, and data teams.
- Generate ad hoc and comprehensive reports using SQL, Excel, ADS, and SQL Developer.
- Build advanced Qlik dashboards with KPIs, drill-downs, interactive charts, and advanced design elements.
- Optimize dashboard performance through data modeling, load partitioning, versioning, and QVD techniques.
- Implement security access controls, standardized themes, and custom UI components.
- Lead reporting POCs to evaluate new BI tool features and strategies.
- Support ETL processes using SSIS for data ingestion into SQL Server.
- Administer Qlik Sense server environments, manage users, and tune performance.
- Conduct data validation and troubleshoot reporting issues to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and peer reviews for team improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of professional experience in software development and application support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
- Expertise in Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects, and SQL (complex query writing, multi-database extraction).
- Experience with Qlik Sense server administration, user access, security roles, and console management.
- Familiarity with ETL tools like SSIS and large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong UI/UX skills for dashboard design and standardization.
- Knowledge of data modeling, performance optimization, ODAG, QVDs, Geo Analytics.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects from concept to delivery.
- Active or prior security clearance required (DHS/DoD preferred).
