Key Responsibilities
- Administer Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) including private automation hub.
- Design, architect, and implement end-to-end automation for banking infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Modules.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, and updates.
- Collaborate with compliance and security teams for regulatory adherence.
- Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and ITSM tools.
- Troubleshoot automation issues in mission-critical environments.
- Support disaster recovery and high-availability automation solutions.
- Document processes and maintain audit-ready workflows.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing on automation tools.
- Implement best practices for modularity, version control, and scalability.
- Manage Podman containers, images, and networks.
- Work with Hashicorp Vault for secret management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 7–10 years of Ansible automation experience, preferably in banking.
- Strong Linux administration background; Windows knowledge a plus.
- Proficient with GitHub version control.
- Skilled in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of banking IT operations, compliance, and security frameworks.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub CI, etc.).
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Splunk, AppDynamics.
- Proficiency with container tech (Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Preferred Certifications & Skills:
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Specialist in Ansible Automation.
- DevOps/security automation certifications.
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or SAMA regulations.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and banking change management.
