Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Hotmelt formulation or extrusion industry experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize hotmelt adhesive formulations for various applications.
- Build expertise on raw material processing and lab-to-pilot formulation capabilities, including synthetic rubber and acrylics.
- Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Stay informed on advances in hotmelt technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Pilot Center Engineering, and Production Engineering for technology transfer.
- Build strong relationships with raw material suppliers and stay updated on market offerings.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
