Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Process journal entries accurately.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data consistency.
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or similar role (2–5 years preferred).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems.
